We woke up about 8 and got out of bed before 9. After pet stuff and breakfast it was surfing. We were waiting for the garage door guy to show up. He showed up about 11:30. He took a look at the door and said he'd never seen one like it. Apparently the jerk who built this place had found the cheapest door possible. So cheap that there is no way to connect an opener to it. So I old him to tell me how much it wold be for a new door and opener. He said he'd email me a quote on Monday.
While I was talking to the garage guy Lucy disappeared. I started whistling for her, but she didn't come back. I was concerned because the gate was open. After about 15 minutes of walking around and blowing the whistle she showed up. She came from the direction of the power lines, but I have no idea where she was.
After he left we had lunch. Then we went to the post office and Home Depot. For the first time in a long time there was no mail. At Home Depot I picked up the stuff to put the light fixtures in conduit. I also picked up the door. When we got home Ellen painted the door while I walked the fence. Lucy had disappeared again and I was also kind of looking for her. I found one place where something had dug under the fence. I filled it with rocks.
When I got back Lucy was back. I really don't want her doing something like this at night. I did my exercises and took the dog to the mailbox. Afterwards I took a shower. Between crawling through the underbrush, moving rocks, exercise, and walking I was pretty sweaty. It wasn't all that warm but it was very humid.
After dinner I watched some MMA, surfed and then watched Gold Rush.
