Day 869

I got up about 8, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast.  Then I surfed until a little after 9:30.  I was just killing time until I could go to estate sales.  The first was up on Anderson Mill road.  It didn't have much that was interesting, but I did pick up an old style 5 gallon gas can.  The second was at 45th and I35.  It was a bust.  Apparently the place was owned by an old lady that lived alone.  The good thing was that I didn't run into any traffic problems.

I stopped at the post office on the way home.  All of the stuff I ordered earlier in the week came in.  Then I went to Circle C.  Lucy and I walked around the park.  I thought she could use a day of unstructured time.

When we got home I ate lunch and then surfed.  Then I unpacked the stuff from Amazon.  I installed the new smoke detector in the apartment.  The idiot had screwed the mounting plate for the old one to the ceiling and glued it, too.  It was a pain in the ass to get off.  Then I put the new cooktop in the kitchen and installed the new mat on my workbench.

After that I took the dog to the mailbox.  I didn't exercise because of the long walk through Circle C.  I fast walked the whole distance.

After dinner it was reading and TV.
