The dog woke me up at 4:30 this morning. She barked several ties, but didn't leave her bed. Unfortunately I couldn't get back to sleep. So I played Mahjong instead. I got up at 6:30, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast. At least I wasn't in a hurry.
I stopped for a cup of coffee on the way to Hog Heaven. When I got there it was a little disorganized. I checked in with the shoot director. That's the last I talked to him all day. I was there by 8, and they started shooting about 9:30. Apparently there was some sort of trapper assignment, but nobody told me about it. There was supposed to be a trapper and a scorer on each station. Station 1 had only 1 person, so I went out there and trapped.
It was a windy morning. That made the station a little challenging. It did make it comfortable though. We were done about noon. Lunch required a meal ticket. I dodn't know if the volunteers got tickets, but of course I didn't get one. I drove to Schlotky's instead. Then I stopped at HEB for a few items. I also stopped at Home Depot to look for shelves. They didn't have what I wanted.
When I got home I started work on the apartment. I got out the extension ladder and mounted the wifi antenna on the outside of the garage. That meant several trips up and down the ladder. I also had to fabricate a couple of grommets to fit around the cable as it went through the wall. That took time, but I think it came out good. I can't run the cable into the living room until I get some Velcro to put on the wall plate and a shelf to put the computer on.
After the antenna effort I got out the pieces for the laundry area shelf. I had to cut 3 inches off of the shelf to make it fit. Then I had to cut off a little more because the enclosure isn't square (surprise, surprise). The rest of the effort was just a lot of careful measurement to make sure it came out well. It did.
After that I put all of the tools away and took the dog to the mailbox. I didn't exercise because I was tired from standing in the morning and going up and down ladders in the afternoon.
Dinner was pulled beef sandwich. The evening was TV and Mahjong.
