Day 859

I woke up at 8 today, turned over and went back to sleep until 8:30.  Then it was pet stuff and breakfast.  After breakfast I went out to the garage to continue with the light rewiring.

I worked until 1:30.  I got all of the wiring and conduit installed.  I also got 2 more of the boxes wired (total 3).  All I have left to do is the 2 connection box (fairly easy) and the 4 connection box (it will be hard).  I stopped because I was tired and it was getting warm at the top of the ladder.

I ate lunch and surfed for awhile.  I was tired of surfing and getting bored with it.  So I got out the new stud locator and confirmed where the studs are for the bathroom door.  For the most part they were where the other locators said they were.  Then I cut the door bar to length.  I had to drill two holes in it for studs that aren't on 16 inch centers.

I still didn't want to quit, so I measured out where the door pulleys attach to the door.  I drilled the holes for one.  That's when I found out that the bolts are too long.  The disgusted me, so I quit.

I went back into the house and surfed for a few minutes.  Then it was time to take the dog to the mailbox.  After that I had dinner.  When Ellen finished hers we went to ACE to get some washers for the door pulley bolts.  I really didn't want to go home, but couldn't think of anything to do.  Ellen wanted cookies, so we wended up driving to the post office and then the cookie store.  We stopped at Costco just for the fun of it.

We got home at 8, just in time to put water in the cats.  The rest of the evening was reading.
