Day 151

We had to go back to the mall today to pick up Ellen's other pair of shoes.  She said they fit perfectly, so she bought them.

It was Tuesday, so we started the wash before we left.  Of course it took all day to finish.

Last night was nasty.  There was a lot of thunder and lightening interspersed with rain.  It was also cold.  When we got up in the morning everything was covered with ice.  The table on the deck had been covered in ice.  As it thawed the ice fell through the table top grate.  It looked like there was a pile of ice cubes under the table.  You could watch as more fell off and added to the pile.

We waited until about noon to leave.  By then the ice was gone from the roads, but still coating the trees.  After the mall and the post office we went to Circle C.  We hadn't really thought about it, but places were pretty muddy.  The dog needed her feet washed afterwards.  After the park we stopped a Tomlinson's for some dog food.  Of course Lucy got a treat.

When we got home I decided to start on the viaduct pillars.  They were a pain in the ass.  They wouldn't line up well and I had to hold them for a long time in order to get the glue to set.  It was such a pain that I only did half of them.
