It was a pretty uneventful day. I got up, fed the animals and myself, and read the paper.
Then I went out to clean up the mess that I'd left in the well house yesterday. That didn't take very long, so I went to the garage to charge the batteries for the sprayer and the mower. It was too windy to spray, but I wanted to be ready when a calm day shows up.
While I was there I noticed that the cabinet I put up last fall was coming off the wall. Apparently I'd put too much weight in it. So I put a spare shelf bracket under it. Doing it required me to use a floor jack and a piece of wood to lift the shelf up as I screwed in the support. It was kind of fun.
Working with that shelf support got me putting up two in the well house. I'll get a board for them tomorrow when I'm driving the truck. I guess I was just into doing small jobs today.
After lunch I went to the post office and the vet to get some more dog pills.
I noticed that after dinner the wind died down. I may end up spraying in the evening. I'll check it out tomorrow.
