There's a 60% chance it will rain tomorrow. So I spent an hour and a half this morning spreading Casoron all over the parking area and driveway. I also went over the back, front and side yards with Roundup spraying thistles. I was tired and my back hurt when I was done. Of course I immediately took a shower. The hot water sure felt good.
It was 1 by the time I was finished. I didn't feel like eating at home, so we went to Chuy's. It was pretty good food. We also found out why it was so crowded in the afternoon. They have happy hour from 4 to 7 every weekday.
After that we went to Randall's to buy some of their Friday specials. Then it was off to Circle C for a walk. I was tired so I really didn't want to do it, but the dog deserved it. That's especially true if it rains tomorrow. She had her usual good time. She really ran around a lot. There were a lot of people playing frisbee even though it was cold and windy (67 degrees) by Austin standards.
When we got home I spent an hour cutting down viaduct pillars. I managed to do the four on the two approach arches. I'm going to have to break it apart and reglue it. For some reason it's not straight.
I didn't get to the mailbox until 5:15. The mailman hadn't been there yet. He came by as I was walking back. I didn't bother to walk back to see if he left anything.
