The first thing I did when I woke up this morning was to call the dealership about an oil change for the Hyundai. They gave me a 1:00 time. So I read the paper and did some surfing while we waited. I also started gluing the viaduct together. I got some of it done before it was time to leave.
We went to the dealership and they said it would be an hour. So we went across the street to look at a Mazda 6. We figured out that we wanted a mid level with an option package. Then we started waling down the road. We stopped at the Toyota place. They are out - too expensive and the mileage isn't good enough.
We passed by the Audi place. There's no value there. We stopped at the Nissan place. The Maxima is too expensive and gets bad mileage. The Altima looks nice though. It's got some pluses and minuses versus the Mazda. Ellen doesn't like it as much though. We'll have to do test drives to decide.
The oil change took a little over an hour and wasn't really expensive. Afterwards we went to the Dan's that had been doing a remodel for lunch. They were doing a land office business. Their menu is a lot more limited than the one by Cabelas.
Next stop was the yuppie grocery. We just bought a few things. Then we stopped by the post office. It was nice to have a key to the box again.
We stopped by Circle C because Lucy was on lead all the time we were looking at cars. We didn't take a long walk, but she got a fair amount of running around in. When we got back to the car she was acting tired.
Last stop was Tomlinson's so that we could get some more pill pockets. Lucy got her treat.
When we got home I finished the viaduct. I would glue a piece, hold it while surfing, surf for another 20 minutes, and then glue the next piece. I got finished about 9. It looks pretty good, but I think I'll glue a base to it.
The upper was supposed to make it to the post office today. The status the morning was "out for delivery". When we got home it was "A UPS error has delayed delivery". This is supposed to be a one day delay. WTF?
