The first thing I wanted to do today was install the new blinds in the bedroom. I wanted to do it today because I knew it would take two people and Ellen is leaving on Tuesday. The install went pretty easily. The new blind is really dark. When it's pulled down all the way no light gets into the room.
After that I decided to do the blind in the trailer. I just didn't want to go on knowing that I had to do it. It went in easier than the one in the bedroom. Unfortunately they didn't include hooks for the bottom of the blind.
After the trailer I was feeling ambitious, so I decided to clean up the well house to make it easier to work on the layout. I took a whole bunch of stuff up to the other building. I even took some of the old sheetrock. I decided a couple of things should go to Goodwill. Finally I moved the table saw to some of the space I cleared up. Now I can work on all parts of the layout without having to squeeze between it and a wall. I even swept the place out.
After lunch we took the stuff we'd collected to Goodwill and stopped at Lowe's to get the blind hooks. I also bought a piece of 1x2 and some screen to close in the area where I installed the new AC. I didn't walk the dog because I was just too tired.
When I got back I put the screen around the outside of the AC. Then I cut the viaduct on the layout to the correct length. I also did a couple of small jobs on the track. Then I quit. It was time for dinner and I just didn't feel like doing any more today.
