We woke up with the alarm, but didn't get out of bed. It was 45 degrees and raining. A lot of surfing ensued, and we got up about 9:15 for pet stuff and breakfast. After that it was more surfing - did I mention it was cold and raining.
While I was surfing I started a list of things we needed - grocery items, prescriptions, water, and water softener salt. We left to get them a little after noon. The first stop was Costco for water and water softener salt. Then it was Staples for an erasure pen that the kids took with them. We also got paper towels there because they were on sale. Of course stopping at Staples meant we had to go to the pet store next door. We got some cat food and Lucy got a cookie.
Lunch was at Double Dave's. I wanted something hot that wasn't a hamburger. Elle had pizza and I had a calzone. After that it was the post office and HEB. Ellen hadn't told me she needed to go to Walgreen's until we got to HEB. The back of the truck was filled with water and salt, so the groceries had to go with the dog. She ate half a bag of potato chips while we were in Walgreen's.
I did a lot more surfing when we got home. Ellen watched chick flicks and I tried not to listen. I was planning on exercising, but I forgot to. That won't happen tomorrow.
After dinner Ellen switched from chick flicks to the Grand Tour. We watched two episodes. They were great.
