I turned over and went to sleep for half an hour when the alarm went off. Then I surfed for half an hour or so. When I got up it was pet stuff, breakfast, and put out the garbage can. I did a little more surfing and then took the rifle ouit to the garage to tighten up the receivers.
It turns out that the adjustment that I thought tightened up the receivers doesn't do that. So I'm going to have to buy something that does that. After I put the thing back together I went back to the house and did a little more surfing. I was hoping that Ellen's stomach would settle down enough that she could leave. It didn't happen.
About noon I took Lucy over to Circle C to swim. She did about 25 water retrieves and then another 15-20 land retrieves. She didn't object when we quit. Then I stopped at HEB for a sandwich, bread, and bananas. The final stop was the post office.
I had every intention of installing the scope when I got home, but I got a severe attack of laziness and surfed instead. About 4 I went out and did my exercises. Then at 5 I took the dog to the mailbox.
I expected the dog to be stiff and sore this evening, but she's not. I guess swimming is easier on her than running.
Ellen had a one-day discount at Amazon if we bought $50 worth of stuff. I spent hours coming up with $50 worth of stuff we wanted to buy. When I finally did, Amazon wouldn't accept the discount code. I bought the stuff anyway.
The rest of the evening was reading and TV.
