Ellen woke up about midnight and started texting me. After about 5 of them I told her to quit. She did, until 7 in the morning.
I read that text and then tried to go back to sleep until the alarm. That didn't work, so I got up by about 8. I did the pet stuff and had breakfast. Then I went online and ordered the butt stock I found yesterday. After that I just surfed for awhile.
About 10:30 I put the pets away and left. I went to the post office and gassed up the car. I bought some gum that Ellen said she wanted.
The traffic luck we had the last two days is gone. Northbound traffic was backed up from just past Zilker to almost 2222. I've never seen it backed up that far.
When I got to the hospital I just sat and kept Ellen company. She's supposed to walk, so I got her up for short walks three times.
I left at 2:30. Traffic was OK until about 45th. Then it was backed up until the bridge and slow until 290.
It was 70 when I got home. I took the dog to the back and she did 23 retrieves. She also had a close encounter with Jack. She only ran a few steps before deciding he was too fast and stopping. Then I screwed the siding that was coming off the back building back on. Finally I did my exercises.
I went back into the house and had one of the ciders that we mistakenly bought for Martha. It was great, but it was drinkable. Then I did a lot more shopping. I'm actually getting tired of doing it.
The evening was surfing and TV.
