Day 507

I got up with the alarm again today.  I thought that we had to take the dog in early.  Ellen couldn't remember when the appointment was, so I surfed until the vet opened and she called.  The appointment was for 3.

I got up, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast.  I had intentions of accomplishing something, but somehow the morning ended up being mainly spent surfing.  Ellen and I did got to the back building to look for things that we didn't need.  We filed up a box with old books, software, and other stuff.  I loaded it and the other things we had set aside for Goodwill into the car.

After lunch I surfed until 2.  I got an email from RRA telling me that I need a special tool and a heat gun to remove the hand guard.  I ordered the tool and a heat gun for working on the RRA from Amazon.

Just before we left we both smelled a really bad smell.  Lucy had pissed on her bed.  She soaked her bed and the futon also.  We couldn't do anything about it right then because we had to leave.

We dropped off the stuff at Goodwill and then went to the post office.  There were several small packages from Amazon with stuff I'd ordered last week.  Then we went to the doggy bakery.  We were down to the last cookie in the cookie jar.  We bought Lucy some cookies and a couple of doggie cupcakes.  Then we went to the vet.

While Lucy and Ellen were at the vet I walked over to Central Market and picked up a couple of things.  We drove home after I got back.

When we got back I attached a couple of things we bought to the AR-10 build.  I also took a close look at the press I bought a long time ago at an estate sale.  It looks pretty good.  I cleaned it up and lubricated it.  I'll take it to Oregon with me.  I also did my exercises.  After that it was time to take the dog to the mailbox.

After dinner we watched two episodes of the Grand Tour.  Then I watched a documentary on Trafalgar.
