I slept in until 8:30. Then I did a little surfing before getting up and doing the pet stuff and breakfast. After that it was more surfing. About 10 we left so I could get a haircut. After the haircut (I liked the way it was cut) we went over to Sam's Club and joined. They were having a special where a year's membership was $25. I thought it would be that much entertainment.
We walked all the way through Sam's Club. We bought a few items. I wasn't impressed with the place. The return and membership areas had only one person apiece. It took half an hour to get a membership. People returning stuff took a long time, too. The checkout was lousy. We ended up waiting in a line while the checker stood around waiting for a supervisor for some reason. We finally did a self checkout. That was messed up, too. They had some interesting stuff that Costco doesn't have, but I don't think we'll renew in a year.
We had lunch at the Whichwich place. Ellen liked it better than Schlotsky's. Then we stopped at the post office and went home. We left the dog at home because it was too hot.
When we got home I did some surfing and then took the dog to the back for retrieves. It was in the low 80's, but she still did 23. Then I installed the part that came in the mail on the upper. It went on easy. Then I did my exercises and took the dog to the mailbox.
When I got back I put the upper and lower together and put on the buttstock and rings. I'll need to take the hand grip off to adjust the receiver tension screw. I hope I don't loose any parts. After I put on the scope and bore sight it I'll be done.
After dinner I read and Ellen watched some TV. A little later we watched a movie.
