I turned over when the alarm went off and slept until 8. Then I got up. Ellen wanted to start the wash before she went to the doctor. I did the pet stuff and had breakfast while she started the wash. We surfed until 10 - time to leave for the doctor. It was all the way up at St. David's north.
We made amazing time. Traffic was moving at 65-70 all the way. We got there in half an hour at most. Of course that meant we were way early. We did some waiting, but were still out by 11:20 (it was a 11:00 appointment).
After that we went to Fry's. We walked around for awhile, but only bought a thumb drive. We really didn't need anything.
Ellen can't eat today. So I stopped at Mickey D's on the way back for lunch and ate it on the road. Again we had traffic karma. On the way up northbound was cruising and southbound was tied up. Now they were reversed.
We stopped at the post office - no mail. Then we went home. Traffic karma continued. There was light traffic at the Y, and I even avoided a bunch of slow people getting onto 1826. Finally, when we got to the flagger he was already letting our lane go.
When we got home it was more surfing and some internet shopping. DVOR sent me a noticed that the Aero parts had shipped. There was a good sale at Primary Arms, so I picked up some more needed items at their sale. I'm $450 into the parts acquisition. I think I have at least $1,000 to go. I took a break in the middle of that to throw the bumper for the dog in the back. She had a lot of ya-ya's. It was 80 degrees and she did 25 retrieves. I think she over did it. She laid on the floor panting for quite awhile.
About 5 I took the dog to the mailbox and then did my exercises.
The entire evening was spent reading about AR-10 parts and looking at prices. I will be doing a lot more of that.
