I woke up at 6, dozed a little bit, and then got up about 7. I got dressed and packed. Then I went down and had pancakes and hash browns for breakfast. They were awful. The hash browns were a brick of frozen ones that were barely warm. The pancakes were over done and tasteless. The packaged "syrup" they gave me had the consistency of water. I put most of it in the garbage.
I think I was on the road about 8. It turned out I had plenty of fuel to get to Boardman, so that's where I stopped. I was only getting about 13.5 mpg though. The CD restaurant there really doesn't have baked good any more. Yesterday morning they only had a few stale donuts. This morning they had nothing.
The rest of the trip in was uneventful. I got off at exit 18 to go to Greg's house. It's about 4 miles south of the freeway. I dropped off the mower. He gave me $150 for fuel. I told him that was unnecessary.
I went on a bit of a detour on the way back. I ended up going 15 miles or so out of my way. Oh well. I took 205 on the way back. Traffic was backed up for about a mile starting at the Stafford exit, but the rest of the trip was above the speed limit. I stopped at Arby's before going home.
When I got to the club I parked the trailer and put all of the tarps and tie downs in the shed. I was tired. I went inside and sat in the recliner. It wasn't too long before I was taking a nap.
Ellen fixed steak and mashed potatoes for dinner. After dinner was some TV and surfing. I'm still tired. Tomorrow may be a slow day.
