Day 1391

We got up about 8:30, did the pet stuff and had breakfast.  After that I dumped the grey tanks.  I didn't want to have to do them when we got home.  When I was finished with that we left for Hooch's place.  My goal was to get there by 10.

I was planning to buy Hooch donuts yesterday, but I forgot.  So we made a small detour on the way up to buy some at Lee's Farm.  It was pretty busy even though it was early.  Apparently they are having some sort of festival today.  Luckily it didn't delay us much, we got to Hooch's place at 10:10.

We brought donuts for Hooch, peanut butter pie for Martha, and Reese's caramel corn for the kids.  They were all hits.  We hung around their place for awhile talking.  Then we all left to go bowling.

They bowling alley is at the Beaverton Mall.  It's brand new and amazing.  We had a lot of fun.  Hooch and I had beer, everyone had nachos.  We bowled two games.  I sucked on the first and did about my average on the second.  Sophia was doing really well with the gutter bumpers raised.  That way there now way for a gutter ball.

When that was done we split up.  The wives and kids went to the mall.  Hooch and I went to look at trucks.  Both the GMC and Chevy 2020 HD trucks are in stock now.  We looked at both.  They are standard for GM - the same truck with minor exterior differences.  They are very cool vehicles though, everything I want.

After that Hooch and I went to a bar/restaurant.  We drank heavily.  It was fun though.  It wasn't very busy and the bar manager was doing the bar tending.  We had a great conversation with him about bar tending and the business.  We called the wives and had them meet us for dinner.  Afterwards Ellen drove me back to Hooch's.

We spent a couple of hours at Hooch's place talking and surfing.  Then we went home.  I was glad I'd dumped the tanks.  It was late when we got home and emptying the tanks would have sucked.
