I woke up a little after 7. I couldn't go back to sleep, so I surfed until a little after 8. Then it was pet stuff and breakfast. I had time to go out and do something, but I didn't feel like it. I did empty the grey tanks. Then it was more surfing until 11 when we left to go pick up the folding chair.
Traffic up was moving pretty fast until the last mile at Foster Road. Then it was stop and go again until we got off. We picked up the chair and then immediately headed back to I5. Traffic was OK there too, except for a short stretch west of Oregon City.
We stopped at a restaurant on 99 in Tigard for lunch. We took our time because we were way early. Then we killed some time at Freddies before taking the dog to the vet. Just as we got there Hooch started texting about a problem with Mom. We had to deal with the dog.
The upshot of the vet visit is that Lucy is a candidate and the surgery will be on Tuesday. The upshot with Mom is that her blood work is getting worse. The doctor wanted to let her go, the hospital nurse said no. Mom will be there until Monday and will have more tests done.
We went to John and Patty's. We had a great time exchanging presents. Then we talked until almost 10. John showed me some of his trailer mods. I told him about our adventures with buying the trailer.
We didn't get home until after 11. Then it was showers and bed.
