We woke up about 8 today. We stayed in bed for awhile and then got up to do pet stuff and breakfast. Lucy is a lot better than yesterday, but she's still very unsteady on her feet. It could be the drugs. She sure has an appetite though.
After breakfast I decided to install the lock on the screen door latch. I measured where the hole needed to be drilled and drilled. That worked perfectly. That's when I discovered that the latch has this weird internal piece that slide right where I drilled the hole. I'm going to have to deal with that.
I decided to try attaching one of the cabinet doors instead. That's when I discovered that the cabinet hardware we ordered didn't come with screws. Ellen had found a place with piss shields for the dog, so we decided to go get them
We drove to Walgreen's in Keizer to get the pads. We stopped at an estate sale on the way back, but didn't buy anything. Then we stopped at Lowe's for hardware. We also stopped at the Salem farm store and Roth's for groceries. The last stop was the post office.
When we got home I no longer felt like doing anything. I wanted to shoot, but Ellen's asshole was giving her grief. So I went out and reloaded 20 ga instead. We spent the rest of the afternoon watching TV. Lucy is still really unsteady. Her back legs barely work. She does get around enouigh to go outside though.
Dinner was leftover Chinese. The whole evening was more TV.
