We got up at 8:30, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. Then I went out to do a few minor tasks.
The first was to complete the sewer hose holder. When I tried to push the holder through the hose something didn't feel right. I compressed it an looked down it. There was something plugging it up. I'm glad I noticed. It would have been lousy to find that out when dumping the black tank.
Then blockage turned out to be a mouse nest. It took some work with a long stick to push it out. When I got it out the inside of the hose was covered in mouse shit. That stopped my effort. I'll have to wait until the grey tank is filled again . Then I'll run the output through the hose to clean it.
The next job was attaching the rubber plugs for the water disconnects to the current covers. That way they wouldn't get lost. I used picture hanging wire. I was going to attach another hook for the TV cable to the wall, but I just didn't feel like climbing into the basement to do it.
The next two things were in the shower. I attached the new shower head that Ellen bought. I hope sh likes it. I also gut a piece of scrap plexiglass and put it under her soap holder. Hopefull that will keep it from falling off like it did before.
My final act was to examine the two cases of 12 ga that got wet on the way up. I've been avoiding it. The first case wasn't too bad. I lost about 10 out of 50 20 ga and 15 out of 125 12 ga. The second case was a disaster. I haven goon through it all yet, but so far I've lose 140 out of 175.
I had a sandwich for lunch and then went got out everything to shoot. We got out to the first station and Ellen's asshole started giving her problems. So we went back to the trailer. I went out to the shed and started removing the shot from the rusted shells. I figure I might as well save it.
After awhile Ellen decided she was OK. We went out and shot. I didn't do really well, but at least I didn't suck as badly as I did last time I went out.
It was 5 by the time we were done. I put everything away and fed the pets. Dinner was leftover Chinese. The rest of the evening was TV and surfing.
