There was no early requirement today, so we stayed in bed until after 8. Then it was pet stuff and breakfast. We surfed for a little while and then went to the vet.
Traffic going up was unusually heavy. I thought it was a little early for the Labor Day Weekend rush to start, but apparently not. I left Ellen and Lucy at the vet and went to the dentist. Traffic in Beaverton was really bad. I had to take a back road to get to the dentist from the vet. I was a little early getting there, but not by much. I texted Ellen to walk over because getting back to pick her up was going to be a real pain.
I spent over half an hour in the dentist chair. The implant was a little over size and it took him awhile to fit it. After that we left for John and Patty's. We called Patty and she said stop for chocolate cake. So we did.
After we got settled I asked them if they wanted to go truck buying. They did. So we went to Royal Moore. I had a chance to test drive a new truck. They are fantastic. They even had one there that was a good color. Unfortunately when I called PullRite to confirm that they made a hitch that fit the lady I got a hold of said that they didn't. We put a deposit on the truck, but didn't buy it.
After that we went home and commenced drinking. We drank the whole bottle of scotch that I'd bought. We had a good time talking and Pat fixed hotdogs and chocolate cake for dinner. We went to bed about 10.
