We got up at 6:30 today, fed the cats, and left for the vet. We left Lucy at the vet and went to breakfast. About 9 we went to UPS to return the Amazon stuff and BiMart to get some cases. Then we went to see Mom.
Mom was just laying in bed when we got there. We talked for awhile and then started playing UNO. The nurses came in and out a few time, but no doctor and we got no updates. Just before we left at 1 the nurse from Touchmark came. She was talking with Mom and the hospital when we left.
While we were there the vet called. It was the middle of the surgery. He said that the tumor was in a bad place and that there was a good chance that Lucy wouldn't survive the surgery if he proceeded. So we told her not to. That means she has between 6 months and a year to live. CRAP. It's a sad day.
We went to lunch at Big Red's. It's a place we kind of liked when we lived here. After that we went to John and Patty's. We spent the rest of the day talking and drinking. They have both their dog and Eric's dog. The two of them were playing non-stop.
We staying with John and Patty tonight.
