We woke up at 7:30, but didn't get up until 8:30. Then it was pet stuff, breakfast, and a trip to the laundromat. Doing the laundry was uneventful. Afterwards Ellen waned to go to Petco to get cat litter.
We ended up going via Bauman's and the store in north Salem. Bauman's had peaches for Ellen, and the Salem store had hazelnuts for me. After that we made it to Petco, which made Lucy very happy. She got even happier when we stopped at Hop Doddy's for lunch. She actually was prancing when she got out of the car.
We had lunch and then sat in the sunshine for awhile. Then it was home via the post office. When we got home I decided to install the cabinet lights.
I started with the ones over the chairs. It went fairly well until I was about halfway through. Then the cheap Chinese piece of shit screws started breaking. There was no reason for it. I drilled pilot holes and wasn't torquing them very hard. I ended up breaking at least ten of them. It really made the process a pain in the ass when it should have been simple.
I finished the chair cabinets. They looked so good that I decided to do the ones over the sofa. It was a little easier than the chair cabinets, but the screws kept busy. About halfway through the job I stopped to have leftover Chinese for dinner.
When I was finished I put everything away. It was after 7:30, so I took the dog for a walk. She really wanted to go. When we got back it was TV and surfing for the rest of the evening.
I have to go to the dentist tomorrow, so I'm not sure if I'll get the cabinet over the TV done tomorrow or not.
