We woke up at 7 today. We stayed in bed until after 8. Then it was pet stuff and breakfast. Unfortunately we were out of milk so it was only a banana.
After breakfast I decided to clean up a few small jobs. I used the caulk I bought yesterday to fill the holes in the compartment door. Then I installed the LED lights in the cabinet over the TV. That allowed me to finally take all of the tools out of the trailer and put them away. It's the last job for inside.
The last job was putting teflon tape on the shower hose connection. It leaked when turned off. That's when I discovered two things. First, flow control is built into the shower handles and can't be removed. Second, the "leak" was actually a design feature of the shower handles. So the whole thing was a waste of time.
At that point I'd officially run out of things to do. So I did a little surfing and then had lunch. After that we went to get pet food. We were out of both dog and cat food. Lucy was happy to go along.
We got the pet food and stopped a Lowe's to get materials to make another sewer hose holder. Then we stopped at Bed, Bath, and Beyond to get a covered garbage can. The next stop was Hop Doddy's. It was 2:15 - happy hour. We had drinks and an appetizer. The last stops were the Salem farmer's market and the post office.
When we got home we spent the rest of the afternoon watching TV. Dinner was frozen food. Then we watched more TV and I took the dog for a walk. She was really happy to go and had a good time.
