Day 1381

We got up about 9 today, did the pet stuff, had breakfast, and left for the DMV.  They had moved since the last time we went there, so we drove towards Hubbard and had to turn around.  Once we got there it was quick.  We went in, got a number, and they called the number before we could set down.  $95 dollars later they promised to send us an updated title in 6 to 8 weeks.

After that we drove up to see mother.  We got there about 11, Hooch was already there.  We sat and talked.  Mom seemed to be a lot better.  She even made a wise crack or two.  The doctor came in after about an hour.  He said they were going to put her on antacids, watch her today, and probably send her home tomorrow.  We left a little after he did.

All three of us ate lunch at Cracker Barrel.  Then we made a quick stop at Pet Smart and then went to Hooch's place.

The batteries in Hooch's trailer were dead, so we went out looking for new ones.  I told him about 6V batteries.  He was convinced.  Unfortunately he needs new battery boxes to hold them and we couldn't find any.  He's going to try to get some tomorrow.

We stopped at Costco and bought some groceries and candy for Mom.  When we got home Dan and Julia fixed dinner.  After dinner Hooch and I spent time on the web looking for batteries and boxes.

Hooch may be going to Boise tomorrow for a funeral.  If so, we may have to deal with Mom.  Otherwise we'll take the dog to the vet in the afternoon and then spend the evening with John and Patty.  It will be good to see them again.
