We got up at 8:30, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast. Lucy couldn't have breakfast because she's going to the vet. We were supposed to get her urine this morning, but Ellen couldn't manage to bend down and get it.
We found a leak in the shower last night. I tried to caulk the shower, but the old caulk tube I had broke. I didn't have another.
At 9:30 we left. The trip up was without traffic, but the traffic there was was slow. We got there about 10:15. I left Ellen and the dog at the vet and went to the dentist.
It took about 45 minutes for the dentist to make the implant impression. He charged me $3,000. Added to the money I've already paid for the implant this is going to be a very expensive tooth.
When I got back to the vet they still had Lucy. So we went to the bagel place and bought bagels for later. Then we went to the French place and got ate pastries. We went across to Freddies and got some caulk for the shower. The vet called about Lucy. She has a mass on her liver, so we had them do a biopsy.
We went back to the bagel place for lunch. The vet called about the time we were done. When we picked up Lucy she was really out of it. We drove home, stopping at the post office.
The new struts were at the post office, so I went out to install them. The 5 minute job turned into a nightmare. I had mismeasured the position of the brackets. They were way too close together. I had to remove all four and reattach them. I had just enough room to do it. Doing so was a long pain in the ass.
Ellen fixed sausage and hash browns for dinner. I stopped what I was doing to have dinner. After dinner I went out and finished the job. I still need to get more struts. The ones I ordered were too weak. I'm returning them and ordering stronger ones.
Lucy is still wiped out she shows no interest n eating. I hope she's better tomorrow.
