We continue to get stuff done at a pretty good rate. Today we took the trailer in to get fixed. It's afairly long drive down there and back, so that pretty much killed the morning.
We ate lunch at the Chinese place at Slaughter and I35. It was really good, and only cost $8.75 a piece. Then we went over to Wells Fargo to try to get a replacement safe deposit box key. It turns out we can't. We're going to have to pay $125 to get the box rekeyed.
The last stop was the post office where we picked up a huge box containing some stuff I ordered a couple of days ago from Amazon.
When we got home I wrestled the mower lift out of the truck. I had to be careful because the water had destroyed one end of the box. Then I spent some time cramming the boxes in the recycle. It will be pretty full by the time it's picked up.
Then I put the lift together. It took some time, but it wasn't difficult. I couldn't resist trying it out. It works great. I was surprised to find out that only one of the two blades is destroyed. It shouldn't be too hard to replace.
After that we chilled and ate dinner before going the homeowner's meeting. I got stupid and allowed them to make me a board member. Oh well. We also met some people that we might get to go shooting with us.
We got home in time to watch half of Monday night football.
