The weather sucked today. The temperature was never less than 75 and got up into the high 80's. The humidity was close to 90%. Going outside was like getting into a steam bath. So I didn't do much. I did go to the garage to get the second blade off the mower. I verified which way to loosen the bolt. Then I got a two foot breaker bar. I pulled hard on it and nothing happened. I decided to pull on it until something broke. I put all my weight into it and finally the bolt came free.
I took the blade off and sharpened it on the grinder. It's not perfect, but at least now it has an edge. I also put some parts away in a cabinet and then called it a day. It was just too muggy.
About an hour later we took Lucy for her blood test. We'll get the results later. We had lunch at Arby's and then went to the yuppie grocery store. On the way home we stopped at Walmart for my drugs and the gas station for gas for the mower.
Tomorrow I'll put the mower back together and get it on the battery charger. That will make it ready to mow. If the weather remains shitty I'll mow what I've edged and finish the edging when the weather improves.
Did I mention the weather is shitty? We spent the rest of the day inside hiding from it.
This evening I found a small scorpion in the living room. Of course I had to show it to Ellen before I killed it.
