We went to the bank this morning to get the safe deposit box drilled. The banker told us they'd give us another box instead. that was good, $20 instead of $145.
We took the truck this morning. It immediately presented me with two new problems. First, the key wouldn't turn in the ignition. Then the tire monitor went off. It turned out that the ignition switch is just getting worn. It still works good if you insert the key "just right". By the end of the day I pretty much had it knocked. The tires were fine, I guess the sensors are getting inaccurate.
The day was rainy, so the was no point in going home to work. So we stopped in at Office Depot to pick up an office chair Ellen saw yesterday. Then we stopped at Spec's to get some prickly pear juice. We went to the Donut and Taco Palace for lunch and then stopped in at the hobby shop behind it.
My real goal today was to go to the DMV in Dripping Springs to find out about the trailer license. When we got there they were closed for lunch. So we went to the Deep Eddy distillery to sample the lemon vodka. It was good, so we bought a bottle for Martha.
We went back to the DMV where we found out that they won't give us a license until we have a safety certificate. So no tags until it's fixed.
When we got home I put Ellen's chair together. Then I put the blades back on the mower, gassed it up, and put it on the charger. It should be ready to go tomorrow. Of course it's raining this evening, so I won't be able to mow. Maybe I'll fix the door on the well house.
