After breakfast I worked on the track switch board for the train. I finished the soldering and then mounted the components toa base board. I would have done more, but it was getting hot in the well house so I quit. I probably won't get anything done tomorrow, but it's going to be a lot cooler on Saturday.
I went back into the house and tried to come up with a Christmas list. The trouble is, with the Social Security money I pretty much buy whatever I want. I even bought $75 worth of stuff this evening.
I decided to go to the Post Office and a late lunch. Before lunch we stopped at a pet store to get Lucy some lunch time treats. We were going to eat at Doc's back yard, but they don't like dogs anymore. So we went to the Thai place instead (they do). After lunch we took Lucy to another pet store just because it was near restaurant.
On the way home Central Texas called to say my XDM was in. So we turned around and picked it up. We also had them send an FFL copy to Dave. When I got home I had to email Dave several times to work out details on the girl's Christmas present.
The evening has been more Christmas list and football. Ellen's phoning into a board meeting.
