First things first - the new light bulb worked. In fact, it's a lot brighter than the old one. I love it when a plan comes together.
The weather was a lot nicer than yesterday, cloudy in the low 70's. So I finished the mowing. There were no more problems with the belt because I was careful to slowly engage and disengage the blades. After that I aired up the tires on the truck. It was giving me an error for the right back (it was low). I'll have to keep watch on it.
I decided that I'd get the rest of the yard work done. I got out the pole saw and trimmed back all of the trees that were threatening the trailer. Unfortunately the saw broke. I tried to fix it, but it didn't work. I'll need a new one.
When mowing the back 40 I noticed that the door to the storage shed was open. Everything looked alright, so just closed it. After the tree trimming I used the tractor and the cart to haul the mower lift to the storage shed. It was taking up too much room in the garage. I couldn't open the door, it acted locked. I went and got the key box, but couldn't get any keys into the lock because it was too corroded. So I spray a bunch of Kroil in it. The door knob turned then. It had just been too corroded to turn.
The water guy was supposed to come between 10 and 2 today. He didn't show. They called at 2:30 to say they weren't coming. They rescheduled for next Tuesday, 2 to 6. We'll see.
After the garbage men came by I cut up the two big boxes we had and put them in the can. It's now at least half full.
Lucy had been a good dog all day. So we went to the post office and Walmart to pick up more drugs. I also got a lighted tree and a lighted blue ball. On the way home we started at the park. It was cloudy and 74, so it was perfect for Lucy. She had a good time doing retrieves.
When we got home I hung up the blue ball. It looks great. I haven't looked at the tree yet. We're having the typical Castle marathon while I wait for football.
