We got up this morning, had breakfast, and went to Costco so that Ellen could by a new laptop. There were about 50 people waiting for it to open. They all seemed to be interested in TV's, not computers. Ellen took her pre-filled out slip to the cash register and we were the first purchase of the day. After that we shopped around and bought a few other things that were on sale including a new blu-ray player and a weather station. We really didn't need them, but they were bargains.
After that we made short stops at the bank and post office and then went home. I wanted to look at Cabela's website for things to buy tonight. That took quite awhile - its a big site.
About half way through that process I got bored. So I decided to put up the new weather station and take down the old one. I turned out to be one of those things that seemed to fight me at every turn. I think I wore out a path between the house and garage getting tools and stuff to make everything work. The end result looks nice, but the indoor temperature readout seems a little high.
Ellen spent a lot of time in the afternoon messing with her new laptop. I told her it would be days before it's set up and she agrees.
I finished with Cabela's just before dinner. I'm surfing until it's time to go to Cabela's. I report on that tomorrow because we probably won't be home until near midnight.
