Today was yard work and doctor day. I started out by removing one of the blades from the mower. It was totally trashed. It came off easily, but the other wouldn't come off at all. I'd like to get it off so I can sharpen it. Then I spent about 4 hours doing edging. I got all of the front and side yard done. I also got a start on the berm on the other side. I have to finish it and the back yard. Unfortunately it's supposed to rain tomorrow.
I also noticed that we'd won the lottery and didn't even know it. Apparently a fire started in some brush near where we park the trailer. I suspect that it was caused by lightning. It burnt up some brush I had piled there and scorched a couple of trees. I guess there must have been enough rain to put it out. We were very, very, lucky.
I finished up edging just in time to have lunch and go to the doctor. He's a nice enough guy. He wants to change my meds a little, which is fine with me. He didn't give me a cholesterol test though.
On the way home I got a new mower blade. I lucked out and got the last one they had.
When we got home I decided to rip the big stack of CD's that has been sitting around for quite awhile. I think I did at least a dozen of them. It took quite awhile. After dinner I watched a movie on Netflix, the first one in 6 months.
