I got up a little after the alarm went off. Then it was pet stuff, start the wash, and breakfast. After breakfast we had about half an hor to kill before leaving, so surfing.
We left about 9. The drive up wasn't bad. We probably didn't slow down below 50 the whole way. Southbound was backed up from downtown to 183. And 183 was backed up for a couple of miles. It only took us a little over half an hour to get to the dealership.
They didn't have a part for the truck, even though I'd called to insure they did. I kind of mildly (and I mean mildly) voiced my displeasure, and they found the part. (In retrospect, how would I know if they did anything?).
We went out and looked at the new trucks. The exterior colors suck. The interiors are nice, but there's still no doggy vent. Also, I don't think the electronics and gauges are as good as I saw in the Ford and Dodge. After that we walked about 2/3 of a mile down the road to Rudy's and bought lunch. We took it back to the dealership to eat. They had the truck ready about the time we finished eating. The whole thing took two hours.
The trip back was amazing. Traffic was fairly light and we went 60+ the whole way. We stopped at the post office and then ran the dog at the soccer field. She did 30 long retrieves. Then we stopped at the watch repair place to get a battery for Ellen's watch. The last stop was Walgreen's to pick up Ellen's drugs.
When we got home I surfed for several hours. Ellen watched a chick flick. Then I went to and did my exercises and then took Lucy to the mailbox.
I surfed the evening away. Ellen watched a bunch of her TV shows.
