Day 534

I turned off the alarm and went back to sleep for an hour.  Then it was get up, pet stuff, breakfast, and go outside.

I did 14 loads.  That expanded the area that's been covered towards the trailer.  It took almost two hours, partly because one of the tires on the cart went flat.  The tread developed about a 1 inch hole.  Fortunately I have spares.  I aired one up and replaced the trashed tire.

It was a little warmer than it has been, but a breeze kept it pretty comfortable.  I'm now at a decision point.  The amount of gravel left is my "reserve" amount.  That means I either quit until fall, or order more gravel.  I'm not sure how many more days of gravel moving I have left.

It was about 11:30 when I got done and went in to take a shower.  Then it was some surfing and lunch.  I searched on Amazon for scope rings and another band for my watch.  I'm not happy with the one I bought.  I don't like the clasp, and it's too shiny.

I found a watch band that I liked, and then I went looking for rings.  I measured what I needed and it was really high.  The real problem was how high the BUIS were. So I switched them with the ones on the pistol.  That allowed me to use the mounts I bought earlier.  Then I bore sighted the BUIS, mounted the scope, and bore sighted it also.  That all took quite awhile.

I took the dog out to the back to run.  She only did 3 or 4 retrieves.  I don't think she liked the temperature.

I surfed a little before and after dinner.  Then it was reading and TV for the evening.
