We got up with the alarm and quickly did the pet stuff. Then it was off to the airport. It was amazing. There was no backup at either Lacrosse or Slaughter. After I dropped off Ellen I went home and had breakfast. Then I surfed for awhile waiting for it to get a little warmer (it was cloudy and sixty).
About 11 Ellen texted me to say that the flight had returned to Austin because of mechanical failure. She wasn't getting out until 2. I did a little more surfing and then went out at 12 for an hour of moving gravel. THE DRIVEWAY IS COMPLETED. I also put a couple of loads along the rock divider in the front yard. I'm going to continue to spread out gravel in that are. I've got about 2 yards left I think.
After that I took a shower and had lunch. Then the dog and I went to the post office. Then it was HEB for a couple of things. The final stop was Circle C. Lucy did 21 long retrieves.
When I got home I replaced the watchband on the S3 with the one that came today. It's pretty nice. I shortened it 3 links. I may end up adding one back.
The rest of the afternoon was surfing. After dinner it was a little reading and the gun shows. It's 10:30 and Ellen still hasn't made it to Portland. She hasn't eaten all day because of her asshole. I'm sure she's really hungry. I am, too. Tis is the first day of my severely reduced food intake. I really don't want diabetes.
