Day 525

I turned off the alarm this morning and went back to sleep.  I'm not sure for how long.  When I woke up I surfed for awhile and then got up to do the pet stuff and have breakfast.  Afterwards it was more surfing while I waited for it to warm up a little.

When the temp got into the high 60's I got a bag of bird seed from the apartment and filled up the two cans.  Then I filled up the bird feeders.  The seed in one of them had sprouted and formed sod.  I pulled it all out.

I had planned on giving the gravel moving a rest, but it was so nice out that I decided to do some.  I did a little over an hour covering the area along the front yard border and between where the car is parked and the house.  I think that there's enough gravel left to make a nice parking pad for the car.  When I run out of gravel I'll order more.  I'll probably run out tomorrow or Sunday.

Just before I went outside I had a long text conversation with Hooch.  Apparently he's deathly ill.  He had Martha take Ellen down to Salem.  Later on Ellen called me.  She couldn't open the hood of the car.  The good news is that the car is running.  She didn't say what shape it's in.  I was working, so I didn't want to talk long.

When I was finished with the gravel I went back inside and had lunch.  After that I surfed for awhile, but I was BORED.

I got out the clock module that I bought a year age for the Bronco.  I took it out to the garage and mounted it in the enclosure I'd bought.  One of the wires connecting the switch board broke off.  I didn't feel like fixing it right then, so I put it away for tomorrow.  Instead I took the dog to the mailbox.

I surfed until dinner time.  After dinner the boredom returned with a vengeance.  I played some pinball and did some reading.  It didn't help.  I'm going to try a movie next.
