I turned off the alarm when it went off and went back to sleep for about 45 minutes. Then I did a short surfing stint before getting up. It looked like it was going to be a warm day and I wanted to move gravel while it was cool. After the pet stuff and breakfast I got to work. It took a little over an hour to move all of the remaining gravel. About half of the area where the car is parked is covered.
I moved gravel 9 of the last 11 days. The other two days it was raining. That's an average of 1 ton a day. That's pretty good. I'm pretty sure I won't do quite as well with the next load. That's because I have to haul it so far from the pile to spread it.
After that I took a shower and had lunch. It was too hot to take Lucy anywhere, so I left her at home while I went to HEB. I got what I needed and then drove home. It's the first time I parked on the new gravel. It's pretty nice.
I surfed for awhile and then took Lucy to the back to run. She did 22 retrieves. When she got back she was really hot. She laid on the tile floor and panted really hard. I was a little worried, but she was OK.
The rest of the afternoon was surfing and reading. In the evening I watched a little TV and then a movie.
