I got up with the alarm today. I just didn't feel like sleeping any more. I surfed for a long time - almost 2 hours. Then I got up, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast. Then we left for Harbor Freight. I'd seen ads for a couple of things I wanted.
I made Ellen some into come into Harbor Freight with me so that she could use a 20% off coupon too. I got two sets of electronic headphones for $15 a piece. We can use them at the range. I also got an ultrasonic cleaner.
After that we went across the street so Ellen could have breakfast. They don't open until 11, so we had to wait 10 minutes in the parking lot. Two other couples had dogs there and Lucy made friends. I ordered a BLT even though I'd eaten and hour and a half ago. It came with egg and three layers of cheese. I scraped off the egg and cheese. The rest of the sandwich was still big. Lucy ate well.
When we were finished we went over to Central Market. Then it was the post office and home. It rained all of the time we were out, half an inch so far today.
When we got home I took my Harbor Freight purchases out to the garage. I unpacked everything and used the ultrasonic cleaner to clean some brass. It worked great. It's also quick - under 10 minutes. After that I did my exercises - no gravel work in the rain.
That was it for anything useful today. It rained on and off for the rest of the day. It's raining right now at 10:30. We spent the evening watching TV and reading.
