Day 1064

We got up at 8 today.  After pet stuff and breakfast we moved some more stuff to the small trailer.  Then we went to Portland to see Mother.  On the way we stopped at Cabel's to get some seat covers that Hooch asked us to get.

It was after 10 when we got to Touchmark.  Mom hadn't gotten out of bed yet.  The staff said that she had complained of pain and being tired.  They were about to get her up anyway.  We waited outside while they got her into the shower and then dressed.  A couple of people in the place got to pet Lucy while we were waiting.

The cookies I ordered Mom were in the mail.  We opened the box and Mom had two.  She liked them.  We talked for a little bit and then took her to lunch on the fifth floor.  It was too cold to take her anywhere.  Later Hooch joined us so he could pick up the seat covers.

Mom seemed kind of out of it today.  She wasn't following anything that was being said and almost fell asleep when we were looking at the menu.  I hope she's not declining.

We all went upstairs after lunch.  We left Mom at an art activity.  We said goodbye for the winter, but I'm not sure she understood.

We stopped at Freddie's on the way home for groceries.  When we got home the real work really started.  Ellen's asshole was giving her trouble, so I washed the car myself.  Luckily the treatment the dealer put on it kept us from having to wax it.  Then the two of us used the Audi cleaners we bought earlier to clean the interior.

After that I parked the two vehicles in the carport and connected the battery maintainers.  Then we put the cover on the Audi.

Ellen went inside to defrost the refrigerator in the big trailer.  I greased the small trailer bearings, aired up the tires, and checked the lugnuts.  That was it for the day.  I accomplished everthing that I wanted for today.

Dinner was leftover sloppy joes.  After dinner was TV and surfing.
