It was 8:45 when we got up - we're not shooting today. We did the pet stuff, and had breakfast. Then we loaded up and went to the club. Just before we left I looked at the case I bought yesterday. It had a broken rivet, so I took it with us.
We took the case back to the place we bought it from. They immediately replaced it. They didn't even look at the one I brought in.
We bought a bunch of stuff. We got two smaller range bags. The ones we have take up too much space under the bed. They are also heavy because they carry a lot of stuff we'd don't really need.
I bought a shell bag from Lonesome Charlie. I didn't really need it, but I wanted to buy something. We met Herkowitz on the sidewalk and went back to his place. We ended up buying Ellen a Women's version of the F16 Blazer. It's a light gun, and I think she'll like it. We got $100 off list and upgraded wood. It looks nice.
After that we had lunch and got a key to shoot l practice. We only shot the targets in front of vendor's row.
When that was finished we sat on the veranda until it was time to eat. Skip and Bev joined us and we had a nice conversation for a couple of hours. We ate dinner together and then went to the stadium.
They had a super fireworks display to start things out. Then it was the standard pro shootoff. Ellen actually won an 11 oz silver bar, worth almost $150.
The shootoff ended about 9:30. We drove home and put all of the shooting stuff away. Most of the stuff we bought at the shoot will have to go home on the bed. There's no place else to put it. After that it was time to go to bed.
