Day 1077

We got up at 8, did the pet stuff and had breakfast.  Then we went to Dan's to say goodbye.  He's leaving in the morning to go to the lodge.  We talked with him until he left.  Then we stopped for coffee at the Richland Cafe.

After that we went home and got ready to leave.  I dumped all of the tanks.  Then I started to install the clock/thermometer.  We had invited Patsy to lunch in Halfway at noon, so I stopped that effort and went there.  Patsy went in her car with a girlfriend.

The four of us had a great lunch and a long conversation.  When we were done I stopped at the hardware store and got a couple of things I needed for the install.  When we got back I finished the install.  It looks nice, but I'm not sure the thermometer stuff works well.

I also cleaned out the lens on the roof light.  That will make it a lot brighter inside at night.  The next thing I have to do is install an outlet for USB and the GPS.  I found a unused 12V connector I can us under the dash.

When I was through with the install I put away all of the hunting stuff.  That took awhile.  Then we took the cat over to Patsy's so she could see it.  Unfortunately she wasn't home.  So we left the Bronco and came home.  I backed up the truck so it would be easy to hook up tomorrow.  Then we surfed the rest of the afternoon away.

Dinner was leftover sloppy joes.  The evening was mainly surfing.  We did finally decide our route.  We'll stop at Declo in Idaho tomorrow and a little town called Marysvale in central Utah on Saturday.  We'll be in Page on Sunday.
