We got up at 7, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. Then we started to get ready to leave. I dumped the tanks - that took about half an hour. I managed to lift the jacks and position the truck while I was doing the tanks.
Ellen had the rest done by the time I was finished, so we hooked up and left. It was 130 miles to Mesa. There wasn't anything notable about the trip except a couple of short periods of traffic.
Our spot in the campground was the least level we've ever been in. It took 4 blocks under the wheels to level it side to side. I didn't have enough other blocks to raise the front to level. It was a pain, but we were done by noon.
We had lunch and then Ellen called her brother. We decided to go see him, it's 60 miles away. Traffic was OK, and we spent most of the trip doing 75 to 80 in a 65. So was everyone else.
We had a good time at Gary's. We talked for quite awhile and had dinner. We left about 6:30 - they go to bed early.
The trip back was OK except for a crash on one of the freeways. Luckily we were able to take a relatively short detour around it.
When we got home it was a little surfing and then bed.
