We got up about 8, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. Then we went to the coffee shop, but it is closed on Mondays. We also stopped at the hardware store for some crimp on connectors, but they didn't have any.
When we got to Dan's I started work on the Can Am. I built a tap to connect between the cigarette lighter connectors and the cigarette lighter. That gave me 12V to power the new lights and horn. Unfortunately two of the connectors didn't stay on and I didn't have replacements. We had to go to Halfway to get them. That was OK, because we needed money and groceries anyway.
When we got back I installed the tap. Then I tested all of the connections. They all worked. Then I pulled all of the wires to the area behind the dash where the tap was. I cut holes in the dash and installed the dome light and turn switches. I had to use the Dremel to install both. That was a pain because the battery died and I had to wait for it to recharge.
I then started to connect all of the wires. Hooch showed up and helped with the last couple of connections. After testing it all (it worked) Hooch pushed all the wires up under the dash and tied them up with cable ties. I was too tired to do it. We put everything away and went over to buy beer at Thorny's.
We all left to feed the dogs, and then went back to Dan's for dinner - tacos. We talked for hours and didn't leave until 10.
