We got up at 8, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. Ellen did a little cleaning while I took some stuff to the small trailer. I tried to test the furnace, it didn't seem to work. Then we went to do the wash. I got a cabinet latch at ACE while we were doing it.
When we got home we split tasks. Ellen cleaned the big trailer while I moved stuff to the small trailer. I moved food, electronics, toiletries, jewelry, firearms, and more. It took until 2 to do it. Then I dumped the black tank, drained the hot water tank, and started draining the water tank in the big trailer. I also put water in the small trailer's black tank and hooked up the water.
By the time I was finished with all of that Ellen had the cleaning just about done. When she was done we put out the mouse poison and I plugged in the sonic mouse annoyers. Then we put in the bedroom and off door slides. The off door slide needed a push to get started, but then worked fine. I left the other slide out until the trailer cooled down so I could test the furnace again (big mistake).
We did some surfing and then ate TV dinners for dinner. I went over to the big trailer at 7:30 to test the furnace. It didn't work. I tried to put in the slide. The lights got dim and it didn't move - dead batteries.
It was dark by then so I got a flashlight and hooked up a battery charger to the batteries. It said they were full until I remembered to disconnect the trailer. Then they read "too dead to charge". I hate smart battery chargers. I got out my multi-meter. They read about 2 volts.
I got out my power supply. I had to unwrap the Audi and get the clamps from its trickle charger. Then I checked the water in the batteries. All of the cells were really low, so I filled them up. It was after 8 when I finally got everything connected.
I'm going to wait until 11 and see if the power supply will charge the batteries enough to pull in the slide. If it hasn't, we'll probably have to get up in the middle of the night. I don't want to overcharge the batteries.
