Day 1401

It was another day where we got up on time, but stayed in bed late.  When we got up it was pet stuff and breakfast.

The first task was to putting more caulk on the bottom of the shower door.  It had a small leak that I really wanted tom get rid of.  Over time small leaks cause big damage.  I caulked the entire bottom of the door.  Hopefully that will take care of the problem.  

Then I went out to the shed to finish the new cat door/cabinet door.  I was really careful measuring everything out.  I removed the old door and set it on top of the new one as I measured and drilled the holes in the new one.  Everything got measured two or three times at least.

About halfway through Ellen came out to say that Gerry wanted to shoot with us.  So I stopped working and got out all of the stuff.  When I was finished we went over to the clubhouse to socialize and wait for Gerry to get here.  I think that's the most time we've spent at the clubhouse all summer.

Gerry got there after a little wait and we went out shooting.  For some reason I was seeing exceptionally well today.  That meant I shot pretty well also.  When we were done we put the stuff away and went to the Woodburn Italian place with Gerry for a late lunch.

When we got back I finished the cabinet door.  Again I was really careful with the measurements.  It paid off.  When I installed the new door it fit perfectly.  The only issue was that I needed to remove the swinging door because it interfered with the cat box.

It was after 5 before I was finished.  After that we watched TV.  Dinner was a small sandwich I'd bought as take home from the Italian place.  After dinner was more TV.
