Day 1415

I got up about 7 this morning.  Of course I stayed in bed for awhile again.  Guess what.  It was raining.   After we did the pet stuff and breakfast I called the manufacturer of the surge protector.  It's started buzzing.  They said it wasn't dangerous, but it would need to be replaced.  Unfortunately they couldn't get a replacement to us before we leave.  They wanted a picture of the thing without the cover off.  That lead to about an hour of frustration getting the cover off and back on.  The box has metal inserts for the screws.  They kept spinning when I turned the screws.  Plus, it's very dark and cramped in that little compartment.

After that we went to the club.  I put all of the boxes that we'd stored in the meeting room in the Ranger.  Then we opened up the safes to take an inventory.  I wanted to know how much stuff we'd be taking to Texas.  Fortunately it wasn't as bad as I thought.

When we were finished Ellen needed to go to the post office.  We went there and then stopped at the dollar store for another plastic bin.  We also had checks, so we went to Woodburn.  We stopped at the Chinese place for lunch, then the bank, and finally Safeway.  It rained a little on and off.

I'd had enough for the day when we got home, so I just sat in the recliner and turned on the TV.  There might have been a little napping.

Lunch was left over Chinese food.  After that was more TV and surfing.
