It was another late morning. We wake up a little after 8, but stay in bed surfing for at least an hour. When we did get up it was pet stuff, breakfast, and a little surfing. I really didn't want to spend the day at the club. I realized that it was Thursday, so we decided to go to the farmer's market in McMinnville. Of course we took the ferry to get there. It's the first time we've been on the ferry this year.
As we were driving into town we passed a Chevy dealership. So we stopped in. Unfortunately they only had one truck, a $40K work truck. We had a fun time talking to the salesman though. We swapped stories about traveling around in RV's.
The farmer's market was really busy when we got there. There was a lot of vendors since it is harvest time. We bought bread, pastries, and peaches. We also had lunch. It was so crowded we couldn't find a place to sit and had to eat at a stand up table in the sun.
We discovered that we were low on money, so we walked downtown to the bank. We used the machine, but then Ellen had to go inside to exchange $100 bills for $20 bills. The teller said that happens a lot. After that we walked around the town for awhile. We also stopped at a beer place. I had a beer and Ellen had a root beer. We actually stopped because we both had to go to the can.
The drive home was fun until we got to the ferry. Traffic was really backed up. We had to wait for three ferries before we got on. We were there for half an hour.
It was 5 when we got home. We fed the pets and watched TV for awhile. Ellen fixed grilled ham sandwiches for dinner. After dinner was more TV.
