We got up at 8:30. The alarm went off late, but it felt like we were getting up early. After pet stuff we surfed. There was no need for breakfast.
We left for Portland a little after 9:30. Traffic was a little heavy but it was moving at 75+. We got to Touchmark at about 10:20. Mom was dressed and sitting on her bed. We took her over to the dining room. Hooch and family didn't get there for another 20 minutes or so. We talked and had coffee until they showed up.
We had a good time at brunch. Mom ate quite a bit and was feeling feisty. The food was as good as last week. Alicia wasn't there. Apparently the birthday party was going to last until this afternoon.
We took Mom back to her room about 12:30. She was getting tired. I think she almost fell asleep in the chair. We said our goodbyes and told her that we wouldn't see her until the spring.
After that we met Hooch and family at a Halloween store. Sophia was looking for a costume. She didn't find one, but we had a good time looking at all of the stuff. When we were done I took Martha and Sophia to another Halloween store. Hooch took Ellen to his place.
The second Halloween store wasn't as good. We went through it and then went to Powell's. Martha didn't find what she was looking for, but I got a couple of books on CD. We stopped at the bowling alley, but it was a 2 hour wait. So we went to Goodwill instead. We spent a lot of time there. I spent most of it sitting in a chair surfing.
We stopped at Happy Panda on the way home to pick up dinner. By that time Alicia was home. After dinner the kids did homework and we talked. We all played with the bird for awhile. It is surprisingly entertaining.
We left a little after 8. Tomorrow is a school day. When we got home we did some surfing and went to bed.
