We got up at 8 today, did the pet stuff, had breakfast, and left for Portland. The drive up sucked. A traffic jam started just north of the Wilsonville exit. It lasted until Tualatin. It was stop and go for most of the way. I got off at Denney to make my way to Murray. It seemed every light was red. When I got to 170th it said the 198 was closed. So I took TV highway out to Royal Moore. For sure I stopped at every stop light along the way.
We got lucky at Royal Moore. As we got out of our car the manager walked around the corner of the building. He recognized us. I told him him we hadn't had the deposit charge cancelled. He lead us to the cashier immediately and had her cancel the charge. It was that simple.
After that we went to John and Patty's. We had a good rest of the morning and afternoon talking and catching up. I took Patty out and we got Mexican for dinner. After dinner we watched football. We left a little after 9.
The drive home was great. When we got home there was a little surfing and then we went to bed.
